  • We have to evaluate the above expression by using the given data.

          Given data:-\frac{3}{12} +\frac{10}{3} .

          To find:- Value of the given expression.

          Solution:-

  • We will take the LCM of the denominators, and make denominators the same.
  • We will Convert the given fractions to equivalent fractions with the denominator as the LCM.
  • Adding the numerators over the denominators.

        Therefore,

          \begin{array}{l}\frac{3}{12}+\frac{10}{3} \\\\=\frac{3}{12}+\frac{10 \times 4}{3 \times 4} \\\\=\frac{3}{12}+\frac{40}{12} \\\\=\frac{3+40}{12} \\\\=\frac{43}{12}\\\\\end{array}

     Hence we will get the value is \frac{43}{12}.
