Simplify √(3+2√2) (here answer is √2+1)​

Answer:

We know (a+b)^2 = a^2 + b^2 + 2ab

Take a^2 + b^2 = 3

and 2ab = 2root2

Values of 1 and root 2 for a and b will satisfy the equation.

Thus root (3 + 2root2) can be written as (root2 + 1)^2
