3 \sqrt{2} \times 4 \sqrt{3} \\ = 3 \times \sqrt{2} \times 4 \times \sqrt{3} \\ = 3 \times 4 \times \sqrt{2} \times \sqrt{3} \\ = 12 \times \sqrt{2 \times 3} \\ = 12 \times \sqrt{6} \\ = 12 \sqrt{6}
