( \sqrt{3}  - 2 \sqrt{5} )^{2}  \\  =  { \sqrt{3} }^{2}  - 2 \times  \sqrt{3}  \times2 \sqrt{5}  -  {(2 \sqrt{5} )}^{2}  \\  = 3 - 4 \sqrt{15}  - 20 \\ =  - (4 \sqrt{5}  + 17)
