Given -

 \frac{3}{4}  +  \frac{2}{5}  -  \frac{5}{20}

To find out the value of \frac{3}{4}  +  \frac{2}{5}  -  \frac{5}{20}

For addition or substraction of fraction number it is important that both of denominator should be same.

LCM of 4,5 and 20 is 20.

Multiply 3/4 by 5/5 and 2/5 by 4/4 we get

 = \frac{15}{20}  +  \frac{8}{20}  -  \frac{5}{20}

As, per the Bodmas rule

First addition and then substraction occurred.

Add 15/20 and 8/20

 =  \frac{15 + 8}{20}  -  \frac{5}{20}

 =  \frac{23}{20}  -  \frac{5}{20}

Now substrate

 =  \frac{23 - 5}{20}

 =  \frac{18}{20}

Divide by 2 we get

 =  \frac{9}{10}

For decimal convertion ,

Divide the 9 by 10 we get

 = 0.9

Therefore,

The value of \frac{3}{4}  +  \frac{2}{5}  -  \frac{5}{20} is 0.9 .

The given expression is as below

\frac{3}{4} +\frac{2}{5} -\frac{5}{20}

We have to simplify the given expression

Adding \frac{3}{4} and \frac{2}{5}, Here the denominator are different so,

taking cross multiplication we get,

\frac{15+8}{20}-\frac{5}{20}

\frac{23}{20} -\frac{5}{20}

Here the denominator values are same,  Subtracting 5 from 23 we get,

\frac{18}{20}

Divide numerator and denominator by 2 we get,

\frac{9}{10}

Therefore, \frac{9}{10} is a required answer.
