The greater number is 400/7
1) Let the numbers be x and y.
2) ratio of x and y = 3/2 :8/3 i.e.
x/y = (3/2)/(8/3) = 9/16
16/9x = y
3) Increasing each number by 15 , ratio becomes 5/3:5/2
x+15/y+15  = (5/3)/(5/2) = 2/3
3x+45 = 2y+30 or x +15 = y
4) Substituting the value of y from the first equation, x+15 = 16/9x
16/9x - x = 25
7/9x = 25 , x= 225/7
5) Value of y would be 16/9*225/7
y = 400/7
