Step-by-step explanation:

Hello!!

No,(root 3 - root 2) ^2 cannot be written as 3+2 = 5

Why ??

Let (3)^0.5=a , a^2=3

Let (2)^0.5=b , b^2=2

So the equation becomes (a-b)^2

Now according to expansion formula-

(a-b)^2=a^2–2ab+b^2

(a-b)^2 =3–2((3^0.5)*(2^0.5))+2

( a-b)^2=(3+2)–2(6^0.5)

(a-b)^2 =5-4.89

(a-b)^2=0.11

So ,(root 3 - root 2) ^2 =0.11 and not 5

Hope dis may help u.
