(3+√3)(3-√3)this in the form of (a+b)(a-b)=a^2-b^2.
Here a=3,b=√3
=3^2-√3^2
=9-3
=6

Hope this is helpful!!!

Given,

An expression (3 + √3) (3 - √3)

To find,

Simplify the given expression

Solution,

Let us assume 3 as a and √3 as b.

The given expression (3 + √3) (3 - √3) is of the form ( a + b ) and ( a - b ) where a  = 3 and b = √3.

We know that ( a + b ) ( a - b ) = ( a² - b² )

⇒   Similarly,  (3 + √3) (3 - √3) = 3² - √3²

⇒   (3 + √3) (3 - √3) = 9 - 3

⇒   (3 + √3) (3 - √3) = 6

Hence, simplification of an expression (3 + √3) (3 - √3) gives the result as 6.
