This will be done by the method of cross multiplication

$3(2 + \sqrt{5} ) + \sqrt{7} (2 + \sqrt{5} ) \\ \\ 6 + 3 \sqrt{5} + 2 \sqrt{7} + \sqrt{35}$

$(2) \: (5 + \sqrt{11} )(5 - \sqrt{11} )$

Using the identity :

$(x + y)(x - y) = {x}^{2} - {y}^{2}$

${(5)}^{2} - {( \sqrt{11}) }^{2} \\ \\ = 25 - 11 \\ \\ = 14$
