 Given \: ( 3a^{2}-b+2ab) - (a^{2}+b^{2}+ab) \\= 3a^{2}-b+2ab - a^{2} - b^{2} - ab \\= 3a^{2} - a^{2} - b + 2ab - ab - b^{2}  \\= ( 3 - 1 )a^{2} - b + ( 2 - 1 )ab - b^{2} \\= 2a^{2} - b + ab - b^{2}

Therefore.,

 \red{ ( 3a^{2}-b+2ab) - (a^{2}+b^{2}+ab)}\\\green { = 2a^{2} - b + ab - b^{2}}
