Answer:

(a) x = 3

⇒ 3x(4x - 5) + 3

⇒ 3 × 3(4 × 3 - 5) + 3   [put the value of x = 3]

⇒ 9(12-5 )+ 3

⇒ 9 × 7 + 3

⇒ 63 + 3

⇒ 66

Now,

(b)  x =

⇒ 3x(4x - 5) + 3

⇒ 3 × (4 ×  - 5) + 3  [pu the value of x = ]

⇒  (2 - 5) + 3

⇒ (-3) + 3

⇒  + 3

Answer:

3x(4x-5)+3. x=3

=3*3(4*3-5)+3

=9(12-5)+3

=9*7+3

=66

so x=66

3x(4x-5)+3. x=1/2

3*1/2(4*1/2-5)+3

3*1/2*(2-5)+3

3/2*(-3)+3

-9/2+3

-9+3*2/2

-9+6/2

-3/2

so x =-3/2
