Multiplication:

3x^2 y * -5xy^2

=3*-5*x^(2+1)*y^(1+2)

=-15x^3 y^3

Division:

(3x^2 y) ÷ (-5 xy^2)

=(3/5)*x^(2-1)*y^(1-2)

=(3x)/(5y)
