It is in the form of (a-b)^2 = a2 - 2ab + B2 is the formula.
Assume a = 4 ; b = root 3
=> (4-root3)^2 = (4)^2 - 2(4)(root 3) + (root3)^2 = 16 - 8root3 + 3
Note : Here Square and root gets cancelled.
