Answer:

4 \frac{19}{14}

Step-by-step explanation:

5\frac{6}{7} + (-2\frac{1}{3}) + 1\frac{5}{6} -----------------EQN1

First let us add the whole numbers and the fraction

ie 5-2+1+\frac{6}{7} - \frac{1}{3} + \frac{5}{6}

= 4 + \frac{6}{7} - \frac{1}{3} + \frac{5}{6} -----------------------EQN 2

Now we will add the Fraction

For adding teh fraction, we have to convert the fractions to like fractions , that is fractions with same denominator

In order to make the fractions Like fractions, we have to first find the LCM of 7,3 and 6

LCM is 42

So EQN2 becomes

4 + \frac{36}{42} - \frac{14}{42} + \frac{35}{42}

4 + (36-14+35)/42

4 + \frac{57}{42}

= 4 + \frac{19}{14}

=4 \frac{19}{14}
