Step-by-step explanation:

Given that

( \frac{5}{9}   +  \frac{2}{3} ) + ( \frac{5}{2}  +  \frac{1}{4} )

To simplify it

Solution

LCM of 9 and 3 is 9

LCM of 2 and 4 is 4

hence

( \frac{5 \times 1 + 2 \times 3}{9})  + ( \frac{5 \times 2 + 1  \times 1}{4} )

now by multiplication and addition we get

 \frac{11}{9}  +  \frac{11}{4}

LCM of 9 and 4 is 36.

 \frac{11 \times 4 + 11 \times 9}{36}

by multiplication

 \frac{44 + 99}{36}

by addition we get

 \frac{143}{36}
