Hi there

Your answer is :-

( 6 + √6 ) × ( 6 - √6 )

( By using ( a - b )( a + b ) = a^2 - b ^2,0 )

we get,

36 - 6

30 ( Ans )

Thank You

Given,

  • (6+\sqrt{6})(6-\sqrt{6}) is given.

To find,

  • We have to simplify the given expression.

Solution,

We can simplify the expression (6+\sqrt{6})(6-\sqrt{6}) by using the following identity:

                        (a+b)(a-b) = a²-b²    (*)

where a= 6 and b= \sqrt{6}

Using (*), we get

           (6+\sqrt{6})(6-\sqrt{6}) = (6)² - ( \sqrt{6}

As we know (\sqrt{6})² = 6, (\sqrt{6})² = \sqrt{6} * \sqrt{6}, we get

                                 = 36  -  6    [(\sqrt{6})² = 6]

                                 = 30

Hence, the simplification of (6+\sqrt{6})(6-\sqrt{6}) gives 30.
