Step-by-step explanation:

= a2 – 2a + {5a2 – 3a + 4a2}

= a2 – 2a + {9a – 3a}

= a2 – 2a + 9a2 – 3a = 10a2 - 5a

I am not sure about the answer

 {a}^{2}  - 2 a +[  5 {a}^{2}  -( 3a - 4 {a}^{2} )] \\  =  {a}^{2}  - 2a + (5 {a}^{2}  - 3a - 4 {a}^{2} ) \\  =  {a}^{2}  - 2a +  {a}^{2}  - 3a \\  = 2 {a}^{2}  - 5a \\  \\
