Solution:-

1st Condition

When ,

a = 0

a (a² + a + 1) + 5

→ a³ + a² + a +5

Putting a = 0 in given Equation

→ 0³ + 0² + 0 +5

→ 0 + 5

→ 5

When a = 0 the answer is 5

Now ,

When a = 1

Substitute the value we get

→ 1³ + 1² + 1 + 5

→ 1 + 1 + 1 + 5

→ 8

When a = 1 then the answer is 8

When a = -1

substitute the value we get

→ (-1)³ + (-1)² -1 +5

→ -1 + 1 -1 +5

→ 4

When a = -1 then the answer is 4 ..

• (a + b)² = a² + b² +2ab

• ( a - b )² = a² + b² -2ab

• ( a² - b² ) = ( a - b ) ( a + b )

• ( a +b +c)² = (a² + b² + c²) + 2(ab + bc +ca)

• (a + b)³ = a³ + b³ + 3ab(a+b)

• (a-b)³ = a³ - b³ -3ab(a-b)

• ( a³ + b³) = (a+b) (a²-ab +b²)

• (a³ - b³) = (a -b) (a² + ab + b²)
