Explanation:

\mathsf{\sqrt3=1.73205....=1.73\:(approximately)}

\mathsf{\sqrt{\frac{5+\sqrt3}{5-\sqrt3}}=\sqrt{\frac{(5+\sqrt3)(5+\sqrt3)}{(5-\sqrt3)(5+\sqrt3)}}}

\mathsf{=\sqrt{\frac{(5+\sqrt3)^2}{5^2-3^2}}}

\mathsf{=\frac{\sqrt{(5+\sqrt3)^2}}{\sqrt{(25-9)}}}

\mathsf{=\frac{5+\sqrt3}{\sqrt16}=\frac{5+\sqrt3}{4}}

\mathsf{=\frac{5+1.732}{4}=\frac{6.732}{4}} [∵\mathsf{\sqrt3=1.732 \:approximately}]

\mathsf{=1.683} \mathsf{=1.68 \:(approximately)}

Answer: 1.683 or 1.68, √3 = 1.73

I hope this helps. :D
