 \frac{5 - 2 \sqrt{2} }{5 + 2 \sqrt{2} }  \times  \frac{5 - 2 \sqrt{2} }{5 - 2 \sqrt{2} }

 =  \frac{ { \sqrt{5} }^{2} - 2(2 \sqrt{2}  \times 5 +  {2 \sqrt{2} }^{2} ) }{ { \sqrt{5} }^{2} -  {2 \sqrt{2} }^{2}  }

 =  \frac{5 - 20 \sqrt{2}  + 8}{5 - 8}

 =  \frac{13 - 20 \sqrt{2} }{ - 3}
