☆By using ALGEBRAIC IDENTITY ☆

  {(a + b)}^{2}  =  {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  + 2ab

1 \:  {( \sqrt{5} +  \sqrt{2} ) }^{2}

 = {( \sqrt{5}) }^{2}  +  { (\sqrt{3} )}^{2}  + 2( \sqrt{3} )( \sqrt{5} )

 = 5 + 3 +  \sqrt[2]{15}

 = 8  +  \sqrt[2]{15}

The required ANSWER is 8+2root 15

Now,

 {a}^{2}  -  {b}^{2}  = (a + b)(a - b)

2 \: ( \sqrt{5}  -  \sqrt{2} )( \sqrt{5}  +  \sqrt{2} )

 =  { \sqrt{5} }^{2} -  { \sqrt{2} }^{2}

 =5 - 2

 = 3

The required ANSWER is 3
