(i) equation is

(a + b) {}^{2}  = a {}^{2}  + 2ab + b {}^{2}

  \sqrt[n]{a}  \times  \sqrt[n]{b}  =  \sqrt[n]{ab}

The answer is

( \sqrt{3}  +  \sqrt{7} ) {}^{2}

 = ( \sqrt{3} ) {}^{2}  + 2 \times  \sqrt{3}  \times  \sqrt{7}  \times ( \sqrt{7} ) {}^{2}

 = 3 + 2 \sqrt{3 \times 7}  + 7

 = 10 + 2 \sqrt{21}

 therefore( \sqrt{3}  +  \sqrt{7}) {}^{2}  = 10 + 2 \sqrt{21}
