$(a + b) {}^{2} = a {}^{2} + 2ab + b {}^{2}$

$\sqrt[n]{a} \times \sqrt[n]{b} = \sqrt[n]{ab}$

The answer is

$( \sqrt{3} + \sqrt{7} ) {}^{2}$

$= ( \sqrt{3} ) {}^{2} + 2 \times \sqrt{3} \times \sqrt{7} \times ( \sqrt{7} ) {}^{2}$

$= 3 + 2 \sqrt{3 \times 7} + 7$

$= 10 + 2 \sqrt{21}$
