Answer:

a^7 * b^7 or [ab]^7

Step-by-step explanation:

i) a ^ 2 * b ^ 2 * a ^ 5 * b ^ 2

= a^2 * a^5 * b^2 * b^5

= a^2+5 * b^2+5

= a^7 * b^7 or [ab]^7

To simplify :  a^{2}\times b^{2}\times a^{5} \times b^{2}

Solution :

  • To solve the above simplification we use" Product of powers rule of exponent "
  • The law state that if there are terms with same base having different exponents then we need to add exponents keeping the base same .
  • Hence , applying this property to given expression we get ,

        a^{2}\times b^{2}\times a^{5} \times b^{2} = a^{(2 + 5 ) } \times b^{(2 +2)}

                                   = a^{7} \times b^{4}

     Hence , on simplification of  a^{2}\times b^{2}\times a^{5} \times b^{2} we get,  a^{7} \times b^{4} .
