Hey dear!

Here is yr answer.....
 =  >  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{9} -  \sqrt{8}  }  \\  \\ on \: rationalising......... \\  \\  =  >  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{9}  -  \sqrt{8} }  \times  \frac{ \sqrt{9}  +  \sqrt{8} }{ \sqrt{9}  +  \sqrt{8} }  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{ \sqrt{9}  +  \sqrt{8} }{9 - 8}  \\  \\  =  >  \sqrt{9}  +  \sqrt{8}  \\  \\  =  > 3 +  \sqrt{8}

Hope it hlpz...

hii!!

here's Ur answer...

we \: have \: to \: rationalise \: \frac{1}{ \sqrt{9} - \sqrt{8} } \\ \\ = \frac{1}{ \sqrt{9} - \sqrt{8} } \times \frac{ \sqrt{9} + \sqrt{8} }{ \sqrt{9} + \sqrt{8} } \\ \\ = \frac{1( \sqrt{9} + \sqrt{8}) }{( \sqrt{9} - \sqrt{8} )( \sqrt{9} + \sqrt{8} ) } \\ \\ = \frac{1( \sqrt{9} + \sqrt{8} )}{ {( \sqrt{9} )}^{2} - {( \sqrt{8} ) }^{2} } \\ \\ = \frac{1( \sqrt{9} + \sqrt{8}) }{1} \\ \\ = \sqrt{9} + \sqrt{8} \\  \\ = 3 + \sqrt{8} \\ \\ hope \: this \: helps...
