Answer 6 :-

: \longrightarrow \tt\dfrac{1}{8}  -   \left(\dfrac{1}{6}  -  \dfrac{1}{4}  \right)

We will solve the round brackets first, so taking the LCM of 6 and 4,

 : \longrightarrow\tt \dfrac{1}{8}  -   \left(\dfrac{1 \times 2 - 1 \times 3}{12}  \right)

 : \longrightarrow \tt\dfrac{1}{8}  -   \left(\dfrac{2 - 3}{12} \right)

Now we will subtract -1/12 from 1/8.

 : \longrightarrow\tt \dfrac{1}{8}  -  \dfrac{ - 1}{ \: 12}

Taking the LCM of 8 and 12,

 : \longrightarrow \tt\dfrac{(1 \times 3) - ( - 1 \times 2)}{24}

: \longrightarrow \tt\dfrac{3 +  2}{24}

  : \longrightarrow\tt\dfrac{5}{24}

Answer 7 :-

: \longrightarrow \tt2 \dfrac{3}{5}  \times 1 \dfrac{4}{7}

Converting 2 3/5 and 1 4/7 into improper fraction,

 : \longrightarrow \tt\dfrac{13}{5}  \times  \dfrac{11}{7}

  : \longrightarrow\tt\dfrac{143}{35}

Converting 143/35 into mixed fraction,

 : \longrightarrow\tt4 \dfrac{3}{35}

Answer 8 :-

 : \longrightarrow\tt \dfrac{7}{36}  \div  \dfrac{35}{81}

The reciprocal of 35/81 is 81/35, so we will multiply the numbers.

 : \longrightarrow\tt \dfrac{7}{36}  \times  \dfrac{81}{35}

Cancelling the numbers,

 : \longrightarrow \tt\dfrac{1}{4}  \times  \dfrac{9}{5}

 : \longrightarrow \tt\dfrac{9}{20}
