Answer:

Given:-

Simplify -  7 \ \frac{1}{3} ÷ \frac{2}{3} \ \ of \ \ 2 \ \frac{1}{5} + 1 \ \frac{3}{8} ÷ 2 \ \frac{3}{4} - 1 \ \frac{1}{2}

To Find:-

The given sum.

Note:-

According to "BODMAS" first bracket should be solved, then 'of', then division, then multiplication, then addition, then subtraction.

Mixed fraction should be changed to improper fraction during calculations.

Two fractions can't be divided easily , for that we use reciprocal , for example - 2/3 ÷ 4/5 changes to 2/3 × 5/4.

Denominators of two or more than two fractions should be equal during addition and subtraction.

Solution:-

According to note first and second point ( BODMAS, mixed fraction changes )~

▪︎ \frac{22}{3} ÷ \frac{2}{3} \ \ of \ \ \frac{11}{5} + \frac{11}{8} ÷ \frac{11}{4} - \frac{3}{2}

Let's solve 'of'

▪︎ \frac{22}{3} ÷ \frac{22}{15} + \frac{11}{8} ÷ \frac{11}{4} - \frac{3}{2}

According to note third point ( reciprocal )~

▪︎ \frac{22}{3} × \frac{15}{22} + \frac{11}{8} × \frac{4}{11} - \frac{3}{2}

Let's multiply

▪︎ \frac{5}{1} + \frac{1}{2} - \frac{3}{2}

As you can see denominators are not same, according to note fourth point

( L.C.M )~

L.C.M is = 2, so let's make denominator 2 , no need to make any changes where denominator is 2

▪︎ \frac{5}{1} × \frac{2}{2} + \frac{1}{2} - \frac{3}{2}

▪︎ \frac{10}{2} + \frac{1}{2} - \frac{3}{2}

Let's add

▪︎ \frac{11}{2} - \frac{3}{2}

Let's subtract

▪︎ \frac{7}{2}

Here, it can be changed to mixed fraction~

▪︎ 3 \ \frac{1}{2}

Answer:-

Hence, the value is =  3 \ \frac{1}{2}
