= 14 / 21 - 12 / 21

= 2/21

2. (-5/6) - (-2/3). = (-5/6) + (2/3)

= -5/6 + 4 /6

= - 1 / 6

3. 4/ 5 × (-7/9). = -28 / 45

4. (27 / 49) ÷ (3/7) = 27/ 49 × (7/3)

= 9 / 7
