Answer:

(√2-1)^2

= (√2)^2 + (1)^2 -2•(√2)•(1)

= 2 +1- 2√2

= 3-2√2

=>( \sqrt{2}  - 1)^{2}  \\ =>( \sqrt{2} )^{2}  + ( 1)^{2}  - 2( \sqrt{2} )(1) \\ =>2 + 1 - 2 \sqrt{2}  \\ =>3  - 2 \sqrt{2}
