Hi ,

now take each term and simplify it

i) √48 = √ ( 2 × 2 ) × (2 × 2 ) × 3  = 2 × 2 × √3 = 4√3

ii) √72 = √ ( 3 × 3 ) ×( 2 × 2 ) × 2 = 3 × 2 × √2 = 6 √2

iii) √27 = √( 3 × 3 ) × 3 = 3 √3

iv) 2√18 = 2 √( 3 × 3 ) × 2 = 2 × 3 × √2 = 6 √2

now put these values in given problem

√48 - √72 - √27 + 2√18

= 4√3 - 6√2 - 3√3 + 6√2

= √3

i hope this is useful to you .

Answer:

\sqrt{48} -\sqrt{72} - \sqrt{27} +2\sqrt{18}  = \sqrt{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Required to find,

\sqrt{48} -\sqrt{72} - \sqrt{27} +2\sqrt{18}

Solution:

48 = 2×2×2×2×3 = 2²×2²×3

72 = 2×2×2×3×3 = 2² ×2 ×3²

27 = 3×3×3 = 3²×3

18 = 2×3×3= 2×3²

\sqrt{48} = 4√3

\sqrt{72}= 6√2

\sqrt{27}= 3√3

\sqrt{18}= 3√2

\sqrt{48} -\sqrt{72} - \sqrt{27} +2\sqrt{18} =  4√3 - 6√2 - 3√3 + 2×3√2

= 4√3 - 6√2 - 3√3 + 6√2

= 4√3 - 3√3

=√3

\sqrt{48} -\sqrt{72} - \sqrt{27} +2\sqrt{18} = √3
