 \sin( 2\theta)  +  \cos( 2\theta)  \\  =  \frac{2 \tan( \theta) }{1 +  { \tan( \theta) }^{2} }  +   \frac{1 -  { \tan( \theta) }^{2} }{1 +  { \tan( \theta) }^{2} }  \\  =  \frac{2 \tan( \theta) + 1 -  { \tan( \theta) }^{2}  }{1 +  { \tan( \theta) }^{2} }
