Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

sin^2theta + cos^2 theta =1

so, sin^2theta = 1 - cos^2theta

cos^2 theta = 1- sin^2 theta

so sqrt ((1-sin^2theta )/(1-cos^2 theta ) = sqrt(cos^2theta / sin^2 theta )

so we get cos theta / sin theta

so the answer is  cot theta

hope this helps you
