⇒ \sqrt{12}  \times  \sqrt{3}  =  \sqrt{12 \times 3}  =  \sqrt{36}  =  \sqrt{ {6}^{2} }  = 6

 \textbf{(ii) Remembering the rule,}

⇒ \sqrt{ \frac{a}{b} }  =  \frac{ \sqrt{a} }{ \sqrt{b} } (b≠0)

⇒ \sqrt{ \frac{98}{162} }  =  \sqrt{ \frac{2 \times 49}{2 \times 81} }  =  \sqrt{ \frac{49}{81} }  =  \sqrt{ \frac{ {7}^{2} }{ {9}^{2} } }  =  \frac{7}{9}
