Correct Question :-

Simplify :- \sf (3 +  \sqrt{3} )(3 -  \sqrt{3} )

Answer :-

\sf{(3 +  \sqrt{3} )(3 -  \sqrt{3} ) } = 6.

Explanation :-

We will use Identity :-

(a + b)(a - b) = a² + b²

\dashrightarrow{\sf{(3 +  \sqrt{3} )(3 -  \sqrt{3}) }} \\  \\

\dashrightarrow{\sf{ {(3)}^{2} - ( { \sqrt{3} )}^{2} }} \\  \\

\dashrightarrow{\sf{ 9 - 3}} \\  \\

\dashrightarrow{\textsf{\textbf{6}}}

Therefore,

\sf{(3 +  \sqrt{3} )(3 -  \sqrt{3} ) } = 6.

Some Identities :-

  • (a + b)² = a² + b² + 2ab.

  • (a - b)² = a² + b² - 2ab.

  • (a + b)(a - b) = a² + b².
