√3

Step-by-step explanation:

take each term and simplify it

i) √48 = √ ( 2 × 2 ) × (2 × 2 ) × 3 = 2 × 2 × √3 = 4√3

ii) √72 = √ ( 3 × 3 ) ×( 2 × 2 ) × 2 = 3 × 2 × √2 = 6 √2

iii) √27 = √( 3 × 3 ) × 3 = 3 √3

iv) 2√18 = 2 √( 3 × 3 ) × 2 = 2 × 3 × √2 = 6 √2

now put these values in given problem

√48 - √72 - √27 + 2√18

= 4√3 - 6√2 - 3√3 + 6√2

= √3
