Answer (a)

 \bf \: a)7 - 3 \frac{1}{2} - 2 \frac{1}{3}

\rm :\implies\:7 - \dfrac{7}{2}  - \dfrac{7}{3}

\rm :\implies\:\dfrac{42 - 21 - 14}{6}

\rm :\implies\:\dfrac{42 - 35}{6}

\bf\implies \:\dfrac{7}{6}

So,

 \bf\implies \:\boxed{ \pink{ \bf \: a)7 - 3 \frac{1}{2} - 2 \frac{1}{3} = \dfrac{7}{6} }}

Answer (b)

 \bf \: b)3 + 1 \frac{2}{3} - \frac{2}{3}

\rm :\implies\:3 + \dfrac{5}{3} -  \dfrac{2}{3}

\rm :\implies\:\dfrac{9  + 5 - 2}{3}

\rm :\implies\:\dfrac{12}{3}

\bf\implies \:4

So,

\bf\implies \: \boxed{ \purple{ \bf \: b) \: 3 + 1 \frac{2}{3} - \frac{2}{3} \:  =  \: 4}}
