( -  \frac{2}{3} ) \times (( \frac{4}{7})  + ({ -  \frac{2}{9} )}) \\  \\  = ( -  \frac{2}{3} ) \times( \frac{4}{7}  - \frac{2}{9} ) \\  \\ ( -  \frac{ 2}{3} ) \times  \frac{(4 \times 9) - (2 \times 7)}{(7 \times 9)}  \\  \\  = ( -  \frac{ 2}{3} ) \times  \frac{(36- 14)}{63} \\  \\  = ( -  \frac{ 2}{3} ) \times  \frac{   22}{63} \\  \\  =  \frac{(( - 2) \times 22)}{(3 \times 63)}  \\  \\  =  \green {\boxed{ - \frac{ 44}{189}}}
