Answer:

4X² + 1 -4X - 4X² + 5 = 0

=> 4X - 6 = 0

=> 4X = 6

=> X = 6/4 = 3/4

X² term will cancel out thus it becomes linear equation.

Answer:

(2x-1)² - 4x² + 5 = 0

=> (4x² - 4x + 1) - 4x² + 5 = 0

Rearranging...

=> 4x² - 4x² - 4x + 1 + 5 = 0

=> -4x + 6 = 0

Since the highest power of the equation is 1, its a linear equation, not quadrqtoc.

Hence this equation is not quadratic..
