To Find : Simplify the expression.

Solution:

8s − 11s + 6  

Similar terms are 8s  and 11s

8s is +ve

11 s is - ve

11 > 8  

Hence sign of resultant would be - ve

11s - 8s  =  3s

8s − 11s + 6  

= -3s + 6

= 6 - 3s

8s − 11s + 6    = 6 - 3s
