Answer :-

Given :-

  • Expression - 30ab + 12b - 10a - 24ba + 18a + 10b

  • a = 1
  • b = 2

To Do :-

  • Simplify the expression
  • Find the value after substituting the values.

Solution :-

Here, we have to simply the given expression and then substitute the value of a and b.

→ 30ab + 12b - 10a - 24ba + 18a + 10b

Arranging like terms together :-

→ ( 30ab - 24ba ) + ( 12b + 10b ) + ( - 10a + 18a )

→ ( 30ab - 24ab ) + ( 22b ) + ( 8a )

→ 6ab + 22b + 8a

  • a = 1
  • b = -2

Substituting the values :-

→ 6 × ( -2 ) × ( 1 ) + 22 × ( -2 ) + 8 × ( 1 )

→ 6 × ( - 2 ) + ( - 44 ) + 8

→ - 12 - 44 + 8

→ -48
