1.) {x}^{\frac{1}{2}} \times {x}^{ \frac{1}{5}}

Using the identity - {a}^{m} \times {a}^{n} = {a}^{m+n}

 \mapsto {x}^{ \frac{1}{2} }  \times  {x}^{ \frac{1}{5} }

 \mapsto {x}^{ \frac{1}{2}  +  \frac{1}{5} }

 \mapsto {x}^{ \frac{5 + 2}{10} }

 \mapsto {x}^{ \frac{7}{10} }
