❁Solution:-
=>84÷(8+(5-1))
=>84÷(8+4)
=>84÷12
=>7
- First of all by using BODMAS rule we understand that brackets are needed to be removed first.
- For that you need to solve them.
- First the small brackets needs to be solved out.
- On solving the small brackets i.e., 10÷2-1 we get 4.
- As first we need to divide 10 and 2.
- On division it gives 5 now when 5 will be subtracted by 1 it will give 4.
- Now for second bracket i.e., 8+
- Now when 4 will be added to 8 it will give 12.
- Now when all brackets are removed or solved we see that the left numericals are 84 & 12.
- The sign between them is of division(÷).
- This says that we need to divide both numbers.
- On division it will give 7.
- As 12×7=84.
BODMAS:-
This stands for -
Bracket of division,multiplication,addition and subtraction.
Here when we solve such questions we are solving then from bodmas rule.
First the brackets need to be solved.
Then after the brackets are solved the word "of" has to be solved this of stands for multiplication.
After that we need to solve division then multiplication then addition and at last subtraction.
Hope it helps
