a) \: ( \sqrt{8} + \sqrt{5} ) \times ( \sqrt{8} - \sqrt{5} ) \\ \sqrt{2 \times 2 \times 2} + \sqrt{5} ) \times (\sqrt{2 \times 2 \times 2} - \sqrt{5} ) \times \\ (2 \sqrt{2} + \sqrt{5} ) \times (2 \sqrt{2} - \sqrt{5} ) \\ (2 \times 1.4 + 2.2) \times (2 \times 1.4 - 2.2) \\ (2.8 + 2.2) \times (2.8 - 2.2) \\ 5 \times 0.6 \\ 3.

b) \: (10 + \sqrt{3} ) \times (2 + \sqrt{6} ) \\ (10 + 1.7) \times (2 + 2.4) \\ 11.7 \times 4.4 \\ 51.48 \\ or, \: \: 51.5 \: .

hopefully its helped u dear :)
