Simplify the following expressions and then find the numerical values for x = -2.
(i) 3(2x – 4) + x2 + 5

x2+3(2x-4)+5

=x2+6x-12+5

=x2+6x-7

now , when we put x=-2

(-2)2+6(-2)-7

=4-12-7

= -8-7

= -15
