1(i). 3/5 of 1·1/9 + 3·1/2
= 3/5 of 9(1)+1/9 + 3(2)+1/2
= 3/5 of 10/9 + 7/2
= 3/5 × 10/9 + 7/2
= 2/3 +7/2
= 25/6
(ii). 4/5× 2·3/8 -2× 3/5
= 4/5 × 8(2)+3/8 - 6/5
= 4/5 × 19/8 -6/5
= 19/10 -6/5
= (19-12)/10
= 7/10
(iii).(4/5+2)(3-2/3)
= 14/5× 7/3
= 98/15
