Simplify the given and express in the form of a + ib.

We know that

 \sqrt{ - 1}  = i \\  \\ so \: here \\  \\ 3 +  \sqrt{ - 64}  \\  \\  = 3 +  \sqrt{ - ( {8)}^{2} }  \\  \\ =  3 + 8 \sqrt{ - 1}  \\  \\  = 3 + 8i \\  \\ a + ib = 3 + 8i \\  \\ a = 3 \\  \\ b = 8 \\  \\
