To solve : \frac{13}{26} \times \frac{1}{2}(\frac{7}{2} - \frac{1}{8}+ \frac{3}{6} \times \frac{6}{3} -18 )

Solution:-

  • To solve the above equation we will follow BODMAS rule.
  • It is the rule used to remember the order of operations to be followed while solving expressions in mathematics.
  • where,

                   \begin{array}{l} \\B=brackets\\\mathrm{O}=\text { order of powers or rules } \\\mathrm{D}=\text { Division } \\\mathrm{M}=\text { multiplication } \\\mathrm{A}=\text { addition } \\\mathrm{S}=\text { subtraction }\end{array}

  • According to above rule we will solve.
  • \frac{13}{26} \times \frac{1}{2}(\frac{7}{2} - \frac{1}{8}+ \frac{3}{6} \times \frac{6}{3} -18 )

       = \frac{13}{52} ( \frac{7}{2} -\frac{1}{8} + 1 - 18 ) \\= \frac{13}{52 } (\frac{28-1+8 - 144}{8} ) \\= \frac{13}{52} \times \frac{-109}{8}  \\= \frac{1}{4}\times \frac{-109}{8}  \\= \frac{-109}{32}

Hence , value of \frac{13}{26} \times \frac{1}{2}(\frac{7}{2} - \frac{1}{8}+ \frac{3}{6} \times \frac{6}{3} -18 ) is \frac{-109}{32} .
