Answer:

Given,

x = 3 , a = - 1 , and b = 2

so

3x - 5 - x = 9 \\  \\  =  > 3(3) - 5 - 3 = 9 \\  \\  =  > 9 - 5 - 3 = 9 \\  \\  =  > 4 - 3 = 9 \\  \\  =  > 1 = 9

Given= x=3
a=(-1)
b=2

And equation is 3x-5-x=9

::
3x-5-x=9
3(3)-5-(3)=9. ::x=3
9-5-3-9=0
-5-3=0
-8=0
0=8

:: let’s verify
3x-5-x=9
2x=9+5
x=14/2
x=7

Hence done
