 \frac{8}{9}  -  \frac{5}{6}

 =  >  \frac{8 \times 2}{9 \times 2}  -  \frac{5 \times 3}{6 \times 3}

 =  >  \frac{16}{18}  -  \frac{15}{18}

taking LCM ,

 \sf =  \frac{8(6) - 5(9)}{9 \times 6}

 \sf  =  \frac{48 - 45}{54}  =  \frac{3}{54}  =  \frac{1}{18}
