Hey mate!!!!

( \frac{b + a}{ \sqrt{ {a}^{ 2{}^{} } + {b}^{2} } } )( \frac{b - a}{ \sqrt{ {a}^{2} + {b}^{2} } } ) \\
now multiplying them we have

 \frac{(b + a)(b - a)}{( \sqrt{a {}^{2} + {b}^{2} } ) {}^{2} } \\
by using
(a+b)(a-b)
= a² - b²

and
removing root from denominator due to the presence of square (²) we have
 \frac{ {b}^{2} - {a}^{2} }{ {a}^{2} + {b}^{2} } \\
Hope it helps dear friend ☺️✌️✌️
