Soln:-

4√5-3√20+4√5 = √5

Expln:-

√45 = √(3×3×5) = 3√5

3√20 = 3√(2×2×5) = 3(2)√5 = 6√5

Summation:-

4√5-3√20+4√5 = 3√5-6√5+4√5

= 7√5 - 6√5

= √5

Answer:

So, in the question, there is \sqrt{45}, which can be simplified. √45 is also the same as √9 x √5. And we know √9 = 3, so it will be simplified to 3√5.

Now in the question, there is also 4√5, which has the same number rooted as 3√5, i.e, √5.

Because of that, now you can add them.

It will be 3√5 + 4√5 = 7√5

Now the equation has become 7√5 - 3√20.

Again, this time, look at √20. It is the same as √5 x √4, and we know, √4 = 2. So bring the 2 out, and there is also a 3 out. (3√20). SO 3 x 2, it will become 6.

So it becomes 6√5 since √4 is out.

Now again we have got like terms, now let's subtract.

It is 7√5 - 6√5.

= √5

So the answer is √5.

Hope it Helps,
